Feng Shui Almanac

By following and applying the principles of feng shui (which literally translates as “wind water”) it is possible for an enterprise or person to improve their situation or life by receiving positive qi. Qi is often described as being the life force or energy flow.

The fundamental principle of feng shui is that qi cannot be created or destroyed but will transform and flow from one place or person to another, being scattered by winds and captured by water, depending on the relative influence of the heavens, time, place, direction etc.

The Eight Aspirations School of Feng Shui (sometimes called Neo Feng Shui) is a simple system in modern use that seeks to correlate, on any given day, each of the eight cardinal points of the compass with a specific aspiration or station in life such as family, wealth, fame, etc., each derived in turn from the Bagua of the Eight Aspirations. This abridged Feng Shui Almanac or Tung Shu is based on the Eight Aspirations.

To begin you must know your Chinese zodiac sign by Chinese years. They generally begin on or about 4 February but if you are born on or about that date, please re-check as there can be a day or two’s variation between Chinese years. Indicatively:
